This hotel is located about 509m from the beach. Place is very calm, beautiful and easily accessible. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Reception area looks most beautiful with typical Kerala architecture. Pool looks very good, though I never used it. Rooms are very well appointed with lot of natural lighting. Bed is comfortable. This is one of the best showers I have used. Food is delectable. They made special Veg Khorma, Raitha, Malabar Parotta for me. Breakfast spread is very good and several items are very tasty. I liked the shape of the room (with a small dome) Check in takes under a minute. If you are looking at a very comfortable stay this is the best place to go.

Overall, our experience was quite positive and largely met our expectations. We particularly appreciated the early morning packed breakfast provided by the hotel. Most services and requests were handled promptly, and we were impressed by the consistently polite and professional attitude of the staff. The location of the property is ideal for a city stay over the weekend. However, we did encounter some issues with the access card not working on several occasions, which could be improved. Nevertheless, this did not significantly impact our overall experience.

I returned after 6 & 1/2 years and I am glad to say that the warmth of the service has only got better. I would like to mention Sanjai Shine Ganesh Anand Doctor Vinitha who were exceptional. Shreejesh at the Ayurvedic Spa was so very gentle with my injured toe and over two days under the able guidance of Dr. Vanitha set it to heal. I was very impressed with Dr. Vanitha’s knowledge care and concern for my welfare. I would recommend anyone seeking good Ayurvedic treatment to visit the spa at the hotel. Given the incredible history in and around Calicut and it being the good capital of Kerala it is hard not to return here. The hotel is well located and everyone goes the extra mile to ensure guest delight.

Had good quality sleep. Awesome team. The front office manager Mr Sanjai, the banquets manager Harekrishnan are Rockstars, so it the housekeeping manager Mr Singh. Food was awesome in the South Western Coastal Festival (Konkan, Goan, Mangalorean ) on during my stay. Above 5 stars for the spread as it was 'light on my heart' (oil we many like to stay away was less) taste great and spread such you can mix and match (like I had bread with prawn curry and fresh bread roll with beans usli. Chef was Mr Prakash from Cape Comorin Taj Westend Bengaluru. His receipe of Lentil Crumble - Beans Usli) was out of this world. And his connotations for those with a sweet tooth is yummy.

This hotel has everything a person needs. Warmth, hospitality, comfortable bed, clean rooms, nice restaurants and great ambience. Good shower, walking distance from the beach and yet reasonably priced. Stayed for a conference next day Comfortable bed, delicious breakfast with huge spread, black coffee as requested. No complaints Wonderful experience

Room was normal, services were prompt however food was not as per standard. There was konkan food festival going on in hotel restaurant .Everything was cooked in coconut oil.There was no dish available in buffet other than konkani dish. For people/family like us who don't like coconut oil and pure vegetarian It was very difficult and disheartening. The management must keep 1 or 2 option of normal standard dish in buffet menu in such event to save the soul of guests. Fortunately on second day restaurant manager offered normal DAL on seeing our dejected face at dinner time and we had Dal roti rice in dinner.

In the Hotel industry, "old age charm" does not always appeal to customers. The Hotel needs to be more friendly towards the elderly. If anyone has problem with climbing or if your parents are on wheelchair, or you are differently abled, please avoid this hotel. Too many steps everywhere. This aspect needs urgent attention. The food and service saved the hotel from very negative feedback. The food was pretty good, and the service was excellent. The sleep was comfortable. The bath was good, but the toilet was falling apart the lock looked as old as the hotel. There were no toiletries (toothbrush, tooth paste etc.) kept in the room not that we use those. The ayurveda centre was very clean and spacious. The quality of the massage could be better though. The location of the hotel is amazing – just 100 meters from the Kozhikode beach.

The hotel is very convenient and the service was very good as well, I asked to change my room and at no time my request was made so that I received a non smoker room. Dinner and breakfast at the hotel’s restaurant was very tasty and the WIFI worked perfectly

Great location - 5 mins from the beach and 10 mins from the city! 1. The hotel needs renovation - the exteriors are looking run down 2. The interiors need a revamp to a more contemporary style. 3. Excellent staff - amazing attention to detail - every request of ours was completed with out a glitch - booking of cabs, airport transfers etc 4. Excellent food & menu options - Kudos to the chef ! 5. Logan Lounge was great - It will be good to have more Single malt options 6. The room floors have a heavy smell of air fresheners - look at more organic options 7.Better pillows please ! 8. Warm and welcoming security staff - every time I stepped out no matter how late the gaurds on duty always made the effort to open the doors. Thank you !
